Mining Level 1-10
Mining Quest Level 1: 10 Copper Ore
Mining Quest Level 5: 50 Bone Chips
Mining Quest Level 10: 99 Obsidian
Where to find Bone Chips?
You can complete both of these quests in one go, to save time. You can also buy this from tradecraft merchant NPC’s(buy gil in ssegold).This part should be easy. After gathering all of those Bone Chips, you should be well past level 5. Return to Adalberta and claim your rewards and gear upgrades.
Where to find Obsidian?
99 Obsidian. Get used to this. You can find Obsidian in Western Thanalan (The East Hammer). Again, you can buy this from NPC’s. While 99 Obsidian may seem pretty grindy, getting stacks of materials is something you should get used to.
Mining Level 11-20
Mining Quest Level 15: 10 High Quality Cinnabar
Mining Quest Level 20: 99 Grade 1 Carbonized Matter.
Where to find Cinnabar?
The HQ Cinnabar shouldn’t be hard to get. They’re found in Western Thanalan (Horizon). Remember to use the skill you just unlocked Unearth, which increases HQ gathering chances.
Where to find Effervescent Water?
They’re found in Upper Paths, South Shroud.
Mining Level 31-40
Mining Quest Level 35: 20 High Quality Raw Amethyst.
Mining Quest Level 40: 20 High Quality Jade.
Where to find Raw Amethyst?
They’re found in Sorrel Heaven , Central Shroud
Where to find High Quality Jade? They’re found in Dragonhead, Coerthas
Mining Level 41-50
Mining Quest Level 45: 20 High Quality Electrum Ore.
Mining Quest Level 50: 3 Darksteel Ore.
Where to find Electrum Ore?
They’re found in Bronze Lake, Upper La Noscea.
Where to find Darksteel Ore?
This quest is a little different, as you’re going to have to be level 50 to complete it (you cannot gather it as a 49 and below miner).
Mining Level 51-60
Well, luckily that the level 50 to 60 content is a lot better compared to 1 to 50. Leveling up seems a lot more dynamic, and there’s a little more to do (Collectibles & Scrips). Also, the materials seem to be more useful, whatever you decide to gather.
Visit Adalberta in the Miners’ Guild (Ul’dah), you’ll be directed to your new ‘GM’ in Ishgard.
Class quests are now every 2 levels! Be sure to check often. (53, 55, etc)
VERY IMPORTANT: Unlock Gathering Scrips & Collectibles.
The quest is called Inscrutable Tastes, found in Ishgard (just slightly north from the Ishgard Aetheryte plaza!)
Semi important: Unlock the 50+ Mining Levequests in Ishgard.
Mining Level 61-70
how to reach the Required Stats:
-You can buy Gameni food(GP+6% max 34 and gathering +2% max 18) from Kuragai in kugane x12.2 y12.6 for 2180 gil.
-Ironworks Gathering gear isn't required but helps greatly
-Place Materia in your gear to give yourself an extra boost
-Roll greed on all dungeon drops while leveling your combat class, u can turn in all dungeon loot to your grand company and change the seals into Cordials.
Activate Collectible mode
If Discerning Eye did proc at least once then Single Mind->Methodical appraisal.
If Discerning Eye did not proc, pop Discerning Eye->Methodical appraisal(u lose 1 gathering attempt due to bad luck). If you need to buy ff14 gil, I recommend you the best platform -ssegold.com
